Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,814 per week in Castro Valley, CA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Neuro ICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Neuro ICU License : Valid RN License Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have : Neuro experience Description : Locals accepted with a travel requirement of 50 miles. Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate. California RN License and certifications must be in hand to submit. Weekend requirements : Every other weekend. Patient ratios : 1 : 2. Epic experience is required. Candidates may float to the Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department. Daily census consists of 18 to 22 patients. The unit is a 24-bed ICU split between two wings. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and others. Patient diagnoses include neuro / stroke ICU post-thrombectomy and trauma patients. The work environment is fast-paced with a focus on patient throughput. Special procedures involve massive blood transfusion and EVD management. All certifications must be AHA approved. Applicants should state any background hits or DUIs prior to submission.
