Job descriptionGather comprehensive data from patients and their families to understand their needs. Analyze and synthesize assessment data to inform diagnoses and care plans. Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to formulate optimal care outcomes. Create and implement plans using clinical judgment and team collaboration. Evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjust plans as necessary. Contribute to nursing practices that enhance quality and effectiveness. Communicate effectively with team members and patients. Incorporate evidence-based practices into your patient care. Maintain a safe and alert work environment. Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care. Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association. Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or from a compact state. Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent course certifications.

Your Role :
As an RN in our Progressive Care Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring complex assessments and interventions. Your expertise and dedication will help us ensure high-quality patient care based on established policies and protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
Education : Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience : No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to perform tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and communicating effectively. These activities are essential to delivering quality patient care.
Required Certifications :
This position will be based at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City, and will involve night shift work.
Work Schedule : 36 hours weekly with night shifts.
