Job Summary and Qualifications : You will assist the smooth running of the Medical Center by efficiently responding to requests for patient movement from one department to another. What you will do in this role : you will participate in direct patient care, communicate with the patient and family, the need for the transport, move the patient to the required mode of travel and appropriately transition care equipment, transfer patients to and from bed, stretcher, or wheelchair with or without assistance from clinical staff based on patient needs, and be responsible for department upkeep and cleanliness of stretchers, wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders, and ancillary equipment.
What qualifications you will need : Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
