Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Leadership : Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team across the region. Provide coaching and performance management to ensure team success.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with corporate goals, identifying opportunities for growth and market expansion in logistics and transportation services.
  • Revenue Growth : Achieve and exceed regional sales targets and KPIs, driving profitability through effective account management, customer acquisition, and retention within the logistics sector.
  • Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences within the logistics and transportation industry in order to position services effectively.
  • Forecasting & Reporting : Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service) to ensure seamless execution of sales programs and customer support.
  • Training & Development : Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the logistics industry.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
