Revenue Growth : Achieve and exceed regional sales targets and KPIs, driving profitability through effective account management, customer acquisition, and retention within the logistics sector.
Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences within the logistics and transportation industry in order to position services effectively.
Forecasting & Reporting : Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service) to ensure seamless execution of sales programs and customer support.
Training & Development : Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the logistics industry.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the logistics sector.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Salesforce experience a plus).
Willingness to travel within the region as required.
