An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide crucial support within a K-12 educational environment. This full-time contract position is based in Bernalillo, NM, where you will play an integral role in enhancing the communication skills of students through tailored speech-language pathology services.

Qualifications :

Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
Commitment to professional development and best practices in therapy

Location : Bernalillo, NM

Responsibilities :

Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs

Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on assessment results

Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' goals

Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required

Provide direct therapy services and ensure consistency in IEP implementation

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment
