Associate Director, U.S. Marketing, Patient Support Strategy & Effectiveness

Our scientists are investigating ways to modulate TL1A to potentially address inflammation and fibrosis associated with inflammatory bowel disease.

The role will be responsible for Patient Support Program Marketing across the Immunology portfolio. This position will report to the Director, US Marketing Patient Support. The Associate Director will shape the foundational PSP planning and strategy for a significant anticipated launch in Immunology. This role will collaborate deeply and partner with internal and external stakeholders to define go-to-market plans for the PSP. The Associate Director, U.S. Marketing, Patient Support Strategy & Effectiveness is responsible for shaping the patient experience to support patients starting and staying on their prescribed treatment. This role drives the strategic planning, design, and continuous evolution of the PSP by integrating customer insights, pain points and operational learnings into clear strategic priorities and program enhancements. This individual will collaborate across the enterprise to ensure that strategic decisions and investments are guided by actionable insights and a comprehensive understanding of the patient experience.

The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, deep understanding of patient support models, and the ability to translate insights into recommendations that improve the patient support program design and effectiveness. This role is responsible for providing input on the design of the Immunology programs, and for ongoing feedback on how to improve these programs for patients, based on appropriate criteria and considerations, and will not be responsible for the implementation, execution, and day-to-day operation of these PSPs. The implementation, execution, and day-to-day operation of the MAP and the PAP will continue to reside with CEI and Corporate Responsibility, respectively, and will continue to be subject to all existing policies and SOPs on the appropriate use, interaction with, and separation from the sales and marketing functions.

Key responsibilities for the Patient Support Marketing role include : shaping PSP strategies, partnering across the company to ensure PSP design integration, establishing a PSP performance measurement framework, overseeing budget, synthesizing and translating complex data sets, developing PSP training and resources, and partnering with colleagues to invest in each other's development.

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA / BS). MBA or equivalent preferred. Requirements : 5+ years in pharma or healthcare, including experience with patient support, reimbursements, specialty pharmacy or marketing. Patient Support Program and / or Hub experience is required. Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and / or customer and market insights to make business decisions. Proven ability to build reporting & analytics for performance, access, adherence, pharmacy metrics. Strong financial acumen, quantitative skills, and analytical capabilities. Strong written / verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and / or sales presentations. Strong leadership, experience influencing without direct authority, navigating complex or matrix organizations and working successfully with cross-functional teams. Understanding of omnichannel marketing, digital and non-digital channels. Demonstrated ability to create and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and program performance. Ability to plan, prioritize, execute, anticipate challenges. Ability to influence across functions to gain consensus. Adaptability and comfort with change.

Preferred Skills : Awareness and understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements. Understanding of patient support, pharmacy, and access. Understanding of Immunology market. Agency and vendor management. Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and Mural.
