AP Accountant

About Our Client

The company is a well-established manufacturing organization looking to double their revenue in the coming years. They have a well established customer base and are looking for someone strong to join their organization.

Job Description

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation before payment.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining strong relationships.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries related to accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Accountant should have :

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
