Home Care Aide Training Program

If you are a nurturing, caring, compassionate person who is looking to make a difference in someone's life; the challenging and rewarding field of Home Care and / or Hospice may be for you. Our program is designed to teach you the skills needed to help clients who are in need of clinical support. The course consists of lecture and hands-on training in a classroom setting, as well as a clinical portion after the class is completed. You will learn bathing, safely moving patients, managing daily activities, nutrition, and more. This class will prepare you to work one-on-one with a patient in their home as a certified Home Health Aide.

Our next upcoming class will begin October 20, 2025 - October 31, 2025. If you pass the test, then you will have two additional days for the clinical session. Classes are held Monday-Friday, and you must be able to commit to the full 2 1 / 2 weeks for the class. There are no make-up classes. Must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation due to transporting clients. The Class and Books are being offered free by Redeemer Home Care & Hospice. Must attend every day and on time as part of the curriculum for the class. Test will be given at the end of the class and must pass to be considered for a position.
