Index Analytics is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Developer to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable high-performance applications that support strategic business objectives and adhere to established technical standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing Salesforce applications through all phases of the development lifecycle from initial technical designs implementation testing to production deployments.

Demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new features tools technologies while optimally communicating with business stakeholders technical teams and cross-functional partners.

Ensure that development efforts meet business and end-user requirements and proactively identifies and resolves systemissues.

Support proof-of-concepts and contribute totechnical solutioning by establishingtechnical vision and working with developers to turn it into reality.

Collaborate with all stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of the project.

Exhibit strong verbal and written documentation skills andable to interact with team members to deliver reliable high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. including Lightning components using the Lightning Design System Lightning Web Components or Lightning Aura Components and Apex (Batch Controllers Triggers).

A minimum of 3 years experience with declarative development on Salesforce using Workflows Approval Processes Process Builder Flows etc.

Previous experience with implementing Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud. Solutions include Live Chat Knowledge Case Lifecycle Management Assignment Rules Reports and Dashboards etc.

Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud design and development and working with third-party tools and market-place solutions from the AppExchange.

Understanding and configuration of SAML and oAuth flows as well as the utilization of Salesforce application and platform security tools. Solutions such as Checkmarx AppOmni or similar.

Extensive experience with Salesforce integrations both point-to-point and middleware.

Knowledge of GIT and CI / CD is preferred.

Strong communication and analytical skills.
