Job description

Overview

BRPH is currently looking for a Business Development Specialist . The Business Development Specialist will support the Mission Solutions (MS) President, Operations and Marketing teams to develop leads and opportunities in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Manufacturing & Industrial (M&I) industries.

This position can be a remote with flexible work hours but there will be travel required for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Aggressively pursue client contacts and lead BD-related activities including scheduling meetings on behalf of MS President, initiating client calls and following-up as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and inform opportunities tracking, strategic outlook and planning, and corporate deliverables.
  • Work closely with MS Operations Administrator and Marketing Team to organize and negotiate conference / event participation and sponsorship packages.
  • Coordinate with AE / CS business development teams to ensure concerted efforts for client capture.
  • Support proposal development activities and serve as a capture lead (long term growth).

Qualifications

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree desired with minimum 4 years sales experience preferably in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Proven ability to research and understand industry decision makers and create personalized outreach to develop opportunities.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter mentality with a proven ability to drive opportunities to closure.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and organizational skills along with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Computer competency required including general knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

    • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :

    Flexible work hours and ability to travel as required. Anticipate travel on average 7-10 days / month.
