Cummings Healthcare Facility in Howland, Maine is a small, family owned Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facility in the heart of Howland, Maine. We have recently expanded our services to offer Skilled rehabilitation and are hoping to grow our team to provide the highest quality care possible.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Howland, ME. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to meet the functional needs of patients. Key responsibilities include assessing patient abilities, developing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support patient rehabilitation. Maintaining clear and accurate patient documentation is also an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practices
• Basic understanding of Medicine and experience working in a healthcare setting
• Strong Communication skills to connect with patients, families, and team members
• Experience or knowledge in working with Pediatrics
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Commitment to patient-centered care and supporting diverse patient needs
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
