Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care within the Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing services in collaboration with physicians and other care team members. Key duties include maintaining accurate patient records, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and responding to changes in condition. The RN also supports clinical education and training initiatives to ensure best practices and compliance with organizational standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential health care records and documentation.Administer medications safely and monitor for side effects, adverse reactions, and overall patient response.Record and track patient vital signs, symptoms, and other clinical data accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).Order and assist with medical diagnostic and clinical tests as appropriate.Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary care team.Modify treatment plans based on patient conditions, progress, and physician directives.Administer non-intravenous medications and assist with prescribed therapies and medical devices.Function as a training point of contact (POC) for registered nurses and other clinical staff.Assist with staff training programs, including but not limited to Basic Life Support (BLS), Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and EMR system training.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and adherence to patient safety protocols at all times.Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities , but may serve as a clinical resource or mentor to other nursing staff.Education, Certifications & Licenses (Required)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming (or compact state license).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association).Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a registered nurse role.Ambulatory or clinic setting experience required.Experience providing direct patient care and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment preferred.Required Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills.High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively in fast-paced settings.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and quality standards.Working Conditions
