We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the business operations of a healthcare facility.
The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing financial processes, billing, collections, and resident trust accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and state / federal regulations.
Business Office Manager Key Responsibilities
Perform all business office functions under the direction of the Administrator following sound accounting practices.
Oversee and maintain resident trust accounts (RFMS).
Manage billing, collections, and deposits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate and complete the month-end close process, including the triple-check process.
Manage the Medicaid pending process, assisting families with required documentation and spend-downs.
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Deliver the highest quality of service with kindness, professionalism, and respect for residents and families.
Business Office Manager Qualifications
Previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a nursing home required.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
Self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail.
