Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Duration : 5 months contract Job Description : We’re seeking a highly capable Cloud Platforms Technical Support Solutions Engineer to support complex customer environments in a high-growth technology organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels in deep technical troubleshooting, cloud operations, and managing issues end-to-end with precision and ownership. Responsibilities : Own the full lifecycle of complex technical issues—from reproduction to root cause to resolution. Lead and project manage new deployment challenges through to successful production readiness. Perform advanced troubleshooting through code-level analysis and deep data investigation. Implement and manage security, permissions, and configuration changes across environments. Drive continuous improvement across support operations through better tooling, automation, and documentation. Build high-quality playbooks, runbooks, and knowledge base content for faster resolution. Partner closely with engineering, product, and operations teams on critical escalations and platform reliability. Experience : 3+ years of experience with Python, R, or a similar object-oriented programming language. Strong SQL skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex data issues. High proficiency with Jira and GitHub for : Issue tracking and prioritization Sprint-level collaboration Version control, code reviews, and incident documentation Hands-on Cloud Operations experience, including : Creating and managing cloud storage buckets Provisioning and maintaining virtual machines (VMs) Configuring security policies, IAM roles, and access controls Strong problem ownership, communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
