ER Registered Nurse Job Details

Position : ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (ED Holds)

Contract Length : 8 weeks

Start Date : January 6, 2026

End Date : February 28, 2026

Shifts per Week : 3

Shift Duration : 12-hour night shifts

Total Hours : 36 hours per week

Schedule : Every other weekend & every other holiday required

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

EMR System : Cerner

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 – $2,020

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) RN experience required

Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license required at time of submission

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale

Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)

Ability to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses as needed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Holds unit

Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses to deliver clinical support as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using the Cerner EMR system

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced emergency nursing environment
