Nature of Duties : Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans for classroom, lab, or clinical instruction for credited technical / occupational courses; prepares standardized course syllabi using a provided template; evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives based on established course grading requirements. Evaluates students’ clinical progress in attaining goals and objectives based on established course grading requirements. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports; Travels to clinical sites and provides instruction in the practical applications of radiologic technology in the clinical environment as applicable. Teaches radiologic technology courses in a classroom / lab / field environment that closely simulates the environment of the industry while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.Provides instruction in the theory and practical applications of radiologic technology in the classroom and lab environment. Measures program or departmental student learning outcomes for continuous student improvement and success and submits results to the program director. Works with the radiologic technology faculty to evaluate, advise, and tutor students in the clinical setting as applicable. May conduct clinical site visits. Requires strong computer skills, communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population. Maintain proper documentation for ongoing JRCERT accreditation and performance. Perform other duties as assigned.
