This is a request for a highly skilled Echo Technician for a Long-Term Assignment (LTA) covering a vacant permanent position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Echo Technician will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures on both pediatric and adult patients in a busy hospital setting. The technician must be comfortable working independently and collaborating within a cardiology team.
Key Requirements & Scope :
Perform diagnostic scanning for pediatric and adult patients.Document procedures using the EPIC electronic health record system.Be willing to float onsite within the scope of the skill set or to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed by the department.Schedule and On-Call Requirements
Standard Shift : 07 : : 30 (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM)Schedule : Monday through Friday.Weekend Schedule : Staffing requires working one full weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday, 07 : : 30). Days off will be given during the week to compensate for any weekend hours worked.On-Call : Yes. Call is based on departmental needs and is currently estimated as :Weeknights : One weeknight per week (16 : : 00 hours).Weekends : One weekend per month (currently every 4th weekend), covering 16 : 00 Friday through 07 : 00 Monday.Holiday Call : Rotating with regular staff as needed.Qualifications and Experience
Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician.Setting : Must have prior experience working in a hospital setting .Certifications : Active certification in BLS is required.Licensure : Must possess active certification as an ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).Order Number : ASC-41378
