Corporate Counsel, Commercial and Privacy

A company is looking for a Sr. Corporate Counsel, Commercial and Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee negotiation and execution of complex agreements, including client contracts and SaaS / cloud agreements

Develop contract templates and negotiation strategies to improve efficiency and consistency

Maintain and develop the global privacy program, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and best practices

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a well-regarded law school

Admitted to practice law in the United States with good standing

Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, preferably in the software industry

Demonstrated expertise in privacy and data protection issues, including GDPR and CCPA

In-house experience at a fast-paced, scaling startup is preferred
