Linux Systems Administrator, - Journeyman - WOLF

We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator, Journeyman - WOLF. This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities : Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation / virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Functional Responsibility / Principal Duties : Hardware Support, OS / Application Software Support, Compliance Assurance (STIG / patch / backup and ACAS scan all of the lab devices once deployed).

Basic Requirements : A mid-level has 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA / BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position.

Red Hat Linux experience, Ansible.

Education Requirements : Bachelors degree. Substitutions include Associate's Degree plus 2 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. High school diploma or GED and / or a relevant technical certification plus 4 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Certifications : Sec+(8570), RHCSA.

Security Clearance : Top Secret (must be a US Citizen)

Telework and Travel : On site 100%.

Contract : This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
