Supervisor - Sterile Processing Department - WCMC - Full Time - 8 Hour - PMs

Job Description :

Responsible to review the activities of Sterile Processing personnel and monitor staff to provide case cart supplies, instrument trays and equipment for use in the Surgical Services department and other patient care areas in a consistent, accurate, and timely manner. Assist in the preparation of quality case carts and trauma carts by random inspection of case carts for errors or omissions. Demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of all systems relating to SPD and how each interacts with the other towards meeting the day-to-day and long term goals of the Surgical Services department and the Health System.

Experience :

5 years Healthcare - Sterile / Central Processing - Required

Certifications / Licensures :

CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Achieved Prior to or within 12 months of hire

CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician

Skills :

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).

Proficient in practice of instrument, implant, supply and equipment.

A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.

Work Shift :

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)

Pay Range : $36.11 - $54.16

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated / relevant experience and / or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .

Note : Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
