    • ROLE OVERVIEW

    As a Subway Store Manager, you will report directly to the Area Manager. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Overseeing daily store operations while providing support and encouraging open communication and feedback
  • Conducting hiring interviews, providing ongoing coaching of team members and lead expectations by example, and preparing and post weekly work schedules
  • Ensuring that new team members are trained and inducted in accordance with Subway training requirements
  • Maintaining business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual. Analyzes business records to increase sales
  • Invoicing, ordering, and daily banking
  • Managing cash variances and food cost, including waste
  • Ensuring that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance problems
  • Providing a high standard of customer service in dealing with sales, inquiries and complaints

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • One (1) year restaurant and / or food service industry experience (front of house or back of house) OR management experience preferred or other relevant supervisory experience
  • Advanced organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system / cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
