Office Assistant | Overland Park, KS

LHH is working with a client in the Overland Park, KS area who is seeking to hire an Office Assistant. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Event Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our daily operations and the creative force behind our events. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and enjoys creating organized, engaging, and efficient experiences. You will play a key role in maintaining a productive office environment while also planning and executing events that reflect our culture and values.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming communications
  • Maintain organized filing systems and office documentation
  • Support scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination for leadership
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires
  • Plan and execute company events, meetings, and team-building activities
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, AV setup, and guest communications
  • Manage event budgets and vendor relationships
  • Create event materials and post-event feedback reports
  • Ensure all events align with company culture and branding

Requirements :

  • Associate degree- REQUIRED
  • Proven experience in office administration and / or event coordination
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Job Title : Office Assistant
  • Location : Overland Park, KS
  • Compensation : $22-25ph.
  • Job Type : Contract-to-Hire
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (fully onsite)
  • Benefits : Health, Dental, LTD / STD
  • Pay Details : $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
