Speech Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly in pediatrics and early intervention. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients of various ages, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and support. The Speech Therapist will work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient's progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and resources to families regarding speech development and strategies for home practice.
• Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and relevant medical terminology.
• Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred; familiarity with early intervention practices is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production.
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy.
• Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to create tailored treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $49.01 - $59.02 per hour
