Foreman Lead Driller / Foreman

Position Overview

The Lead Driller / Foreman will oversee drilling operations and manage a team of drillers on construction sites. This role focuses on ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications in deep foundation and geo-technical drilling projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate drilling activities on site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage a team of drillers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Plan and implement drilling schedules according to project timelines.
Conduct site assessments to determine the best drilling practices and techniques for each project.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols during all drilling operations.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience in drilling and construction management, with a focus on deep foundations and geo-technical projects.

Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and site safety practices.

Experience in pile driving and related construction operations is preferred.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work in various environmental conditions and on challenging terrain.
