Spokane Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Housekeeping to lead our environmental services team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our residents and staff.

Position Summary :

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations within the facility. This includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and supporting a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff

Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met

Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper use of equipment

Collaborate with leadership and nursing teams to address facility needs

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

Qualifications :

Previous housekeeping management experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards

Ability to foster a team-oriented, service-first culture
