Overview
The Bartender , or Mixologist , works at a bar, hotel, restaurant, or special event venue to increase sales and attract customers by offering quality cocktails and great customer service. Bartenders serve customers quickly to help businesses run smoothly, and they are essential for companies that want to offer delicious cocktails. Their duties include customer service, customer engagement, preparing guest drinks, product / recipe knowledge, keeping the area around the bar clean, restocking supplies.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.90, plus tips.

Responsibilities
- Taking multiple orders and collecting payments from customers
- Operating point of sale terminals to ensure proper sales and tracking of all products
- Setting up and cleaning the bar and the area around it (Including building displays and wells). The Bars (including Club Bars) are high-profile locations frequently visited and shown by our clients and must be kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Washing all bar tools and utensils
- Monitoring bar inventory, ingredients, rotating, and front facing all products
- Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
- Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and acting accordingly with such individuals.
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.Ability to multi-task in multiple environments and take direction from various Supervisors.Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state and federal regulations.Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory and sales.Ability to speak, read and write in English.Minimum 2 years Bartender Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar / venue capacity.Must have extensive drink recipe knowledge and use proper measuring tools (Jiggers)Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
