Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient rehabilitation unit with Epic charting experience and every other weekend shift requirements.

Responsibilities

Position is in an inpatient rehabilitation unit at a short-term acute care hospital

Work schedule includes day and evening shifts, Friday through Monday (4x8s) with every other weekend 12-hour shifts

Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital

Must float within scope to meet facility needs or to similar units

Uses Epic EMR for all charting

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Return staff must have a 1-year gap to be eligible for rehire as a traveler

Travelers may complete no more than 2 consecutive contracts before a 6-month break is required

Weekend shifts required every other weekend

Holiday coverage required as needed

All requests for time off are subject to manager discretion

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required

Minimum of 2 years RN experience required

Epic documentation experience preferred

Not open to candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility
