About the Position

As an Itinerant School Business Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for school districts, providing expert guidance in accounting, business management, and compliance. You'll tackle complex financial challenges, streamline processes and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that empower district leadership to make confident decisions. With a hands-on role in shaping business office operations, you'll ensure resources are maximized, compliance standards are met, and schools are positioned for long-term success. This position is all about blending leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise to make a real impact in education.

About Us

The Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent is led by the elected Superintendent. The office provides statutory services related to school governing board elections, bond andoverride elections, appointments, school finance, and maintaining homeschool and private school records. The Superintendent also oversees the Maricopa County accommodation district, ensuring educational opportunities for at-risk students, including those in detention schools.
