Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and advanced cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Cath Lab with both inpatient and outpatient casesDuties include hemodynamic monitoring, pacemakers, vitals, STEMI response, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Rotablator use, EP ablations, pacemaker implants, and coil embolizationShifts are 5x8 hours, typically 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with one late team rotation per weekOn-call requirement includes one night per week and every fourth weekendFloating may be assigned to Interventional Radiology or to affiliate hospitals depending on patient volumeCerner charting experience is requiredLight blue scrubs are providedResponsibilities include monitoring, procedural support, and assisting with complex cardiac proceduresCompletion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules is preferredReturn staff must have a minimum 3-year break before returning as a travelerNo local candidates accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facilityMaximum of 10 days RTO allowed; must be willing to work at least 1 of 3 holidays if RTO overlaps holidaysLight blue scrubs are provided for staffFirst-time travelers will be considered for this assignmentAll professional behavior and attendance policies are strictly enforced; conduct issues may result in immediate contract terminationRequirements
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab TechnologistCurrent or pending state license is required and must be active by start date; license required if applicableCerner charting experience requiredAbility to interpret dysrhythmias and perform advanced procedures such as STEMI intervention, EP ablation, and Rotablator useWillingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates depending on censusMust be able to work call and late rotations as neededBenefits
