Job Description :
Our client in Indianapolis has an opportunity for a hybrid Scrum Master and technical delivery role in a highly regulated Life Sciences safety setting. This is a long-term hybrid contract, onsite three days per week in Indianapolis.
This individual will support the delivery of new medicines by ensuring that the technology and information systems underpinning drug development operate efficiently, remain current, and align with business and compliance requirements. The role involves close collaboration with scientists, technical teams, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Keep systems running, lead projects, and improve operations while ensuring compliance and protecting patient data.
- Contribute to the advancement of product development efforts from research to market by guiding cross-functional teams and managing technology solutions that support drug development processes.
- Serve as Scrum Master and leverage both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to lead project delivery. Facilitate team ceremonies, resolve impediments, and ensure continued momentum.
- Foster strategic partnerships by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business units, technical teams, and external vendors. Proactively identify opportunities for technology-driven business improvement.
- Manage the safety programs, overseeing digital tools that support patient safety and regulatory compliance (e.g., adverse event tracking systems). Ensure platforms are secure, stable, and compliant.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting innovation and implementing enhancements to systems and workflows. Utilize test automation strategies to accelerate release cycles.
- Implement ITIL and DevSecOps best practices. Apply service management processes including incident, problem, and change management. Operate within regulated (GxP) environments, maintaining high standards for quality, security, and data integrity.
- Contribute to strategic planning by influencing product and platform roadmaps. Assess the impact of evolving technologies and services on systems and shape future service delivery strategies.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field3–5 years of relevant Scrum\PM experience, including :Technical or software-related roles (internships acceptable)
Experience in the Life Sciences domain preferredProven communication and leadership skillsProficiency in :Agile tools (e.g., Jira)
