Material Handler

The material handler is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging products according to daily production schedules using a stand-up reach truck. The position ensures safe and efficient material handling while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Operate stand-up reach trucks and other warehouse equipment to move, pick, and pack products.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules for accurate order fulfillment.
• Inspect inbound shipments and report any quality or inventory issues.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Complete required documentation using computer systems.
• Report equipment or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Support other warehouse operations as needed and attend required trainings.

Work Environment :

The role is situated in a warehouse environment that is fast-paced and non-climate controlled. Candidates must be comfortable working in such conditions and should not be afraid of heights as racks are high up.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Center, MN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
