Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and proficiency with GE MRI systems and Epic EMR.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital MRI department, with occasional shifts at a Women's Imaging Center
  • Patient population may include individuals with COVID-19
  • Shift schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 : 30 AM to 9 : 00 PM, and Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday shifts required
  • Uses Epic EMR system and GE MRI equipment
  • Candidates may care for patients with COVID-19
  • Facility enforces a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
  • Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
  • Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to starting and generally take 5-6 hours
  • Team interviews will be conducted by the manager
  • Travel pairs are accepted, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
  • Local candidates (within 50 miles) are eligible with an adjusted pay rate

  • Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience, 2 years preferred
  • BLS certification required from AHA or ARC
  • ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
  • Proficiency with GE MRI systems
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must be able to provide two professional supervisory references from the past 2 years
  • License required if applicable
