Estimated Weekly Pay : $1360-$1460

Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D), 5 beds

Patient Ratios : Laboring Patient 1 : 1, Postpartum 1 : 3 Mom / 3 Babies

Scrub Color : Turquoise

EMR System : Cerner

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN license

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications (required)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Willingness to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Night

Must reside more than 50 miles from the Newport facility

Strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, addressing psychosocial, physical, and developmental needs

Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptom changes

Deliver care with initiative and responsibility, upholding professional nursing standards

Support patients and families with compassionate, thorough communication

Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR

Follow all healthcare facility policies, including holiday coverage and call requirements
