Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Lake Pointe, TX

Shift Schedule : 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

Duration : Permanent

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Pay Range : $32 / hr - $53per hour

Please note, we have different shifts available such as variable 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts per day, and other flexible schedules.

Responsibilities :

Deliver safe, evidence-based, and compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations within the Emergency Department

Serve as a clinical leader and resource to team members, particularly during high-acuity or trauma situations

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

Maintain accurate documentation, monitor patient progress, and respond rapidly to changes in condition

Follow infection control protocols and institutional policies at all times

Participate in quality improvement efforts and provide mentorship to junior staff

Skills / Experience Needed :

Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department RN experience - Required

Minimum 2 years in a Charge RN or supervisory role - Required

Proficiency in handling critical emergencies including trauma, stroke, and cardiac events

Strong communication, triage, and time-management skills in high-pressure situations

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support less experienced nurses

Education :

Associate Degree in Nursing - Required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred

Certifications (Any one of the following - Required) :

Registered Nurse (RN) - Valid license in Texas

Basic Life Support (BLS) - or must obtain within 30 days of hire

ACLS, PALS, and TNCC - Preferred or required depending on patient assignment
