Job description

Avera Medical Group Mitchell is seeking a board certified or board eligible General Surgeon physician :

  • Join a group of 3 General Surgeon
  • Call schedule is 1 : 4
  • Established hospitalist service 24 / 7
  • ER covered 24 / 7 by Emergency Medicine trained Physicians
  • Opportunity to teach Medical, NP, PA students
  • Overall clinic includes 65 physicians and APPs, 22 specialties
  • Primary market area 26,000; secondary market area of 65,000
  • Physician will be employed by Avera Queen of Peace
  • Position includes competitive base salary, production incentives and a generous benefit package
  • Become part of an integrated network of physicians with easy access to specialist locally or by Avera eCARE services with 24 hour access.
