This position will manage the planning, execution and completion of projects, ensuring they meet technical, budget and schedule requirements. You will provide technical expertise, review designs, analyze data, conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments as well as troubleshooting issues. Effective communication and collaboration / interaction with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and clients.
Develop detailed project plans, define timelines, allocate resources effectively.
Work with various teams to ensure seamless project progression.
Ensure that all technical aspects of the job adhere to the required standards and specifications.
Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project costs and deadlines, taking corrective actions as needed.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders – internal / external.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Address technical challenges and find solutions to keep the project on track.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Strong understanding of design, systems and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field.
3-5 years of aerospace engineering and project management.
Experience establishing metrics in conjunction with the program stakeholders to ensure appropriate measures are in place and managed
Ability to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for project documentation & execution.
Fluent in French would be a plus.
