Location : Massapequa, New York

Shift : Full-Time | 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM

Salary : Up to $120,000 per year

Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care RN to join our dedicated nursing team. In this role, you will provide specialized wound care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of treatment, comfort, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess residents / patients admitted with wounds or who develop wounds in-house.

Collaborate with physicians to determine individualized wound care treatments.

Lead weekly wound rounds with the wound care team, measuring wounds and updating treatment plans.

Complete and maintain weekly wound tracking forms, reporting any non-healing wounds to physicians.

Track and distribute weekly decubitus statistics.

Provide in-service education and training for staff on wound care practices.

Prepare quarterly Quality Assurance reports to ensure regulatory compliance.

Observe and evaluate dressing changes to ensure competency among treatment nurses.

Educate residents and families about wound care when appropriate.

Attend wound care in-services to remain current with best practices and standards.

Requirements :

Current New York State RN license .

Wound Care Certification required.

Infection Control Certification required.

Minimum 1 year of nursing home experience preferred.
