About The Position

A well-established healthcare organization in  Grand Rapids, Michigan  is seeking a  full-time Geriatrics Physician (1.0 FTE)  to join their dedicated team caring for complex older adult populations across local nursing facilities and advanced care programs.

Position Overview :

Provide care for geriatric patients across  eight local nursing facilities

Support an  Advanced Care Coordination Program  focused on home-based and transitional care

Opportunity to  teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows

Flexible, autonomous scheduling

Longer visit times to address the needs of a complex patient population

Supportive leadership focused on  work / life balance

Shared call rotation among providers

Requirement :

Board Certified or Board Eligible  in Geriatric Medicine

OR

Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine  with Geriatrics experience -  REQUIRED

Must become Board Certified within 2 years , if currently eligible

Experience working with  geriatric or medically complex patients  -  REQUIRED

Michigan medical license  (or willingness to obtain) -  REQUIRED

DEA, BLS, and ACLS  (or willingness to obtain) -  REQUIRED

New graduates with Geriatrics Fellowship training are welcome
