Gastroenterology Hospitalist Physician - Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our growing team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, a community-based hospital located in the heart of beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia . We are looking for a collegial, motivated physician with strong clinical and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. This hospital-based role features a 7-on / 7-off schedule with no outpatient responsibilities, offering outstanding work-life balance in one of the most scenic and vibrant communities in the region.

Position Highlights

Employed position with Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Group

7-on / 7-off schedule for excellent work-life balance

Elective colonoscopies performed Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM 12 : 00 PM

ERCP and / or EUS not required but welcome

Strong internal referral network with rapid ramp-up and dedicated marketing support

Epic electronic medical record system

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary : $610,000 / year plus wRVU productivity bonuses

Quality Incentive Bonus : Up to $24,500 / year
