About the Team :

We seek a senior security engineer to support security governance projects and optimize security tool operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in security engineering, risk management, and automation, with the ability to lead security initiatives, enhance workflows, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead security risk governance projects by identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation, and implementing effective security controls.
  • Perform comprehensive technical assessments of network architecture, infrastructure operations, and core systems to proactively address security risks.
  • Develop and deploy automated security monitoring, alerting, and response systems to boost operational efficiency.
  • Improve security workflows, incident response procedures, and reporting mechanisms to ensure timely risk detection and mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed security best practices into system design, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security governance, security tools operations, or related infrastructure fields.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, ELK), IDS / IPS, EDR, forensic tools, and log analysis platforms.
  • Proficiency in security automation and scripting languages like Python or Bash to enhance monitoring and operations.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and system hardening in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with secure configuration, logging pipelines, and monitoring architectures to ensure resilience and high availability.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud security models (AWS, GCP, Azure), and container security.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to manage multiple security initiatives.
  • Excellent project management, documentation, and communication abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex security risks into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
