Summary

This role will perform or assist in the performance of internal and external quality surveys / audits or performance-based assessments. Assesses conformance to and effectiveness of operating practices for satisfaction of the requirements contained in drawings specifications operating requirements and internal procedures. Evaluates overall level of performance in major functional areas identifying strengths and concerns related to an areas organization processes procedures and programs. Reports results and publishes or assists in the development of final reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will administrate the Corrective Action Request (CAR) system facilitate the Cause Analysis / Mistake proofing (CA / MP) process for teams working with supplier response serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for CARs and assist in maintaining relevant command media and related Work Instructions (WIs).
• Coach stakeholders and peers on the fundamentals of Root Cause Analysis
• Facilitate cross functional teams to evaluate causal factors
• Provide written documented evidence of investigations supporting systemic issue identification and resolution
• Ensures containment corrective actions and effectiveness reviews are completed for all CARs
• Effectively communicate with peers and colleagues regarding status of investigations
• Establishes and maintains proficiency in performance assessment quality assurance and root cause analysis methodology.
