About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to take on a strategic role in national recruiting and the management of the firm's growth plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment process, from building the pipeline to closing advisor recruits, and will be expected to travel extensively to build relationships with advisors at competing firms. This executive will also lead the management and retainment of breakaways and hybrids, and will be instrumental in the implementation of business development initiatives to assist current advisors in client acquisition.
Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in recruiting and business development within the financial services industry, with a focus on the broker / dealer or RIA environment. The role requires a proven track record in recruiting top-tier financial advisors and driving business growth, as well as a strong understanding of the financial markets, wealth management, and the regulatory environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and be proficient in CRM systems, recruiting platforms, and digital marketing tools.
