Test Engineer II (Pensacola, FL area) Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

A master's degree is a plus.

(LRU = Line Replaceable Units, which are typically used as a sub-system interface for flight management).

Experience with test equipment, tools, and software commonly used in defense and aerospace testing (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, environmental chambers).

(Using programming languages such as Python, C / C++ is desirable but not required).

Position Overview : As a Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of various systems, components, and equipment used in defense and aerospace applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test plans, procedures, and strategies to evaluate the performance, functionality, and compliance of these systems.

Your work will contribute to the overall safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of defense and aerospace technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and prioritize critical test cases and define test objectives and success criteria.

Identify and troubleshoot system defects or failures, working closely with the design and development teams to investigate and resolve issues.

Continuously evaluate and improve test methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance test coverage, reliability, and effectiveness.

Collaborate with regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders to address compliance requirements and resolve any compliance-related issues.
