ICU RN Job Details – Glenwood Springs, CO

Location : Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 (Colorado travel nursing jobs)

Unit : CVICU & Critical Care (CCU)

Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am), weekend rotation included

On-Call : 1 call shift per 2-week period required

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2290 - $2350

Housing : Furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments available half a block from the hospital (includes Wi-Fi, utilities, laundry, and furnishings)

ICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in Critical Care; CVICU experience required

Active Colorado Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)

PALS certification preferred

Strong clinical skills in CVICU and ability to cover CCU

Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from Glenwood Springs, CO

Key Responsibilities for ICU Registered Nurse

Deliver expert nursing care in the CVICU and CCU, supporting two Cath Labs (including a Hybrid Cath Lab)

Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, ensuring safety and comfort at all times

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Participate in call rotation and respond to staffing needs as required

Foster a positive, healing environment for patients and the Glenwood Springs community
