We pride ourselves on our close-knit collaborative environment and strong ties to the local community. We maintain a large number of long-standing staff and promote high morale and a good working atmosphere.

We are seeking a litigation associate with 1 to 7 years' experience. Ideal candidate will be independent and self-motivated.

Ideal candidate will possess

• Excellent academic record
• Active or Pursuing California Bar License
• Experience or exposure to civil litigation and / or insurance defense
• Strong work ethic
• Strong advocacy and verbal communication skills
• Excellent research and computer skills
• Strong legal writing skills for written discovery, reporting, and motion preparation
• Ability to take depositions and handle case files
• Desire for court appearances, deposition and trial work
• Ventura County ties or a desire to relocate to the Ventura area
• Professional demeanor, common sense problem solving and can-do attitude
