Job Summary As a global leader in networking solution innovation, Super Micro Computer's mission is to develop and provide end-to-end computing solutions and high-performance networking products. We have an immediate need for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented design team. The candidate will play a key role in developing in-house server motherboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure robust design. The candidate must be self-motivated, result-driven, and committed to developing competitive, durable board products. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for schematics capture, layout checking, BOM creation, debugging, and testing of server board / add-on card products. Modify and improve existing designs to enhance server board quality. Prepare technical documentation including specifications, layout instructions, and test procedures. Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve engineering issues early, ensuring product quality and performance. Provide documentation and technical support to contract manufacturers and production during sample and production stages. Support production team in solving product issues from customers. Perform design verification testing. Ensure products meet engineering, regulatory, and customer standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's in electrical engineering preferred; Master's desirable. Minimum 2 years PCB design or layout experience is a plus. Deep knowledge of digital, analog, power circuit design, and PCB layout. Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and debugging skills. Strong communication skills. Experience in PCB design for enterprise networking servers is a plus. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Salary Range $90,000 - $105,000, depending on factors like location, experience, education, and skills.
