Job Title : Imaging Technologist Profession : Imaging Specialty : General Imaging Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12hr Evening Shift Hours per Shift : 36 Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : IEMA (IL license) Certifications : BLS, ARRT Must-Have : - Experience with various patient types, including trauma cases. - Level 1 trauma experience. - EPIC experience required. Description : Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet Designation. The imaging unit has 2 outpatient and 5 inpatient CT rooms. Patient types include adults and pediatrics, with a preference for pediatrics. Common procedures include stroke imaging, CTA, biopsies, drains, calcium scoring, cardiac imaging, and general anatomy scanning. The unit operates 24 / 7 with available radiologic technologists and hospitalists. Patient ratios are 1 : 1. Weekend rotations are required every 3rd week. The schedule is published every 4 weeks, and holiday coverage is based on need. Time-off requests are subject to managerial approval. Scrub color required is Caribbean blue with no logos, camo, or denim. IV starts experience is preferred. Mid-shift floating is possible within inpatient imaging.
