Full-Time Temporary, Hourly

You've started the education, now get going with the experience! Join our team of fiber optic technicians for the summer to apply your skills and expand your knowledge on the job. We are currently offering Fiber Optic Internship opportunities in Tipton and Sunrise Beach. Each student will be assigned to a location, but will travel throughout the territory to observe and perform work. Our internships offer competitive student pay, a full time schedule, and top notch on-the-job training for students looking to pursue careers in fiber optic construction.

On a regular basis you will :

• Construct and maintain underground and overhead fiber lines in accordance with RUS specifications
• Read & interpret staking sheets and system maps
• Learn and implement latest safety requirements
• Assist with loading material, preparing the truck and equipment for daily work
