Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring 3 years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department

Primary modalities include CT scanning and some vascular imaging procedures

10-hour varied shifts with no call requirements

Patient population includes routine, trauma, vascular, cardiac, and stroke cases

Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon / Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start

Candidates should arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before the Monday start date to complete Employee Health clearance on Friday

Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required before contract start; vaccination can be administered during health clearance

\n \n Requirements\n

Minimum of 3 years experience as a CT Technologist in an acute hospital setting

Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer required by start date

ARRT(CT) certification required

Current BLS certification required

Ability to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently

Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques including MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, and procedures such as biopsies or drainages preferred

License required if applicable
