Job descriptionInpatient Care : Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting. Call Coverage : Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed. Admissions : Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment. Rounding : Responsible for rounding on nursery patients as required. OB / GYN Expertise : Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations. Patient Volume : Manage approximately 2 patients per shift. Procedures : Perform typical OB / GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care. Board Certification : Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory. State License : Must hold an active Tennessee medical license. Certifications : BLS and ACLS certifications required. Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 7 days. EMR Systems : Familiarity with eCW and MedHost is preferred. Hospital Bed Capacity : 16 beds in the department. Support : The department is supported by experienced staff and has the necessary resources for effective patient care. Temporary Privileges : Available to expedite the onboarding process.
